Lauren Frosch

Lauren Frosch is the Founder and Managing Director of Sunshine Strategies LLC, where she partners with nonprofit organizations to strengthen operations, build organizational capacity, and design sustainable programs that advance their missions.

A committed Servant Leader, she is passionate about creating and sustaining quality programs that support vulnerable populations, drawing on extensive experience in program development, fundraising, and community collaboration.

Professional Background
Lauren brings nearly a decade of nonprofit leadership experience, including serving as the Executive Director of a domestic violence services agency. In that role, she oversaw administration and operations, with services that included a 24/7 hotline, emergency shelter, advocacy, counseling, and occupational therapy. In partnership with the Board of Directors, they increased annual fundraising efforts by six figures, as well as successfully completed a capital project to build a new 24/7 domestic violence shelter serving women and children.

Her previous work includes leading development, marketing, special events, and strategic program initiatives for disability service providers, frequently stepping into cross-functional roles as a “jack-of-all-trades” to meet organizational needs. Earlier in her career, she managed volunteer and outreach efforts, including the recruitment, training, and management of more than 400 program and special events volunteers.

Her career has spanned two pathways: first in education as a teacher, and later as a nonprofit professional. While working as an educator at St. Joseph’s Academy in St. Louis, she was deeply influenced by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, whose commitment to serving the dear neighbor without distinction inspired her to approach the world with greater compassion and purpose. Although she valued teaching and contributing to students’ growth, she was increasingly drawn to supporting nonprofits and their systems of change for vulnerable populations, which ultimately guided her transition from education into the nonprofit sector - and instilled the values that have made her a Servant Leader.
